Big Beat Playground is a family friendly, dance music festival with a warm, welcoming and safe environment for children, young people and their families.

We are a grassroots community, started by a group of friends and family members who believe that the festival experience should be enjoyed by everyone.

Inclusivity is our top priority, and we believe no one should be priced out of the festival experience. We aim to bring communities together and promote community cohesion. Recognising and celebrating cultural diversity, we encourage and welcome families from all backgrounds.

That’s why we insist on keeping our ticket prices low and distributing as many complimentary tickets to low-income families as possible.

Last year, with the assistance of local charities and social enterprises, we gave 415 free tickets to low-income families.

We are a Community Interest Company and proud members of the Young Barnet Foundation, which is part of the Barnet Together Alliance. Their mission is to create a borough where every child and young person thrives.

By working closely with local social organisations (including schools, family groups, community hubs, arts and cultural centres and food banks), we can ensure that our free tickets reach the right families, ensuring everyone can access our festivals and have a great time.
