Q. Who are our events aimed at?

Our events are primarily aimed at families with children from 0 to 10 years. However, older siblings are very much welcome.

Q. Who will look after my children?

All children remain the responsibility of their parent or carer.

Q. Can I bring a buggy?

Most definitely. However, we would kindly ask, for health and safety reasons, that you do not take your buggy to the very front of the stage/front of the dance area. There will be a designated buggy park. We kindly recommend the use of baby slings

Q. Are there baby-changing facilities?

Yes, baby-changing facilities are available.

Q. What music will I hear?

Alternating DJs will be playing the very best of Uplifting House and Club Classics and the very best of Reggae, Calypso and Carnival. Please do not expect children’s songs (no Baby Shark!!)

Q. What music will I hear?

Alternating DJs will be playing the very best of Uplifting House and Club Classics and the very best of Reggae, Calypso and Carnival. Please do not expect children’s songs (no Baby Shark!!)

Q. How is the event laid out?

The event will be like a mini festival, feel free to wander around and explore all the different areas.

Q. Will it be busy/crowded?

As people move around, different areas will have busy times and quiet times. If an area becomes busy and crowded and it’s not for you, then please explore other areas and return a little later when quieter.

Q. Will the music be loud?

Music is kept at child-friendly levels. You are welcome to use ear defenders for your little ones, should you so wish.

Q. Will there be flashing lights?

Please expect the use of flashing lights, fog machines and confetti cannons.

Q. Is there a charge for the extra activities?

There will be plenty of free and fun things to do, including games and arts and crafts. Some activities may incur a small charge, such as face-painting or balloon modelling, if you wish, bring a little pocket money. Don’t worry grown-ups, there are plenty of card machines!

Q. If a small charge is made for an activity, who benefits?

Any activity provider who makes a small charge keeps 100% of their takings. Big Beat Playground does not financially benefit from activity providers.

Q. Will a photographer be present?

A photographer will be present on behalf of Big Beat Playground and will be taking photos, some of which may be used for our marketing. By attending our event you are giving permission that you may be photographed. However, if you wish for a photo to be removed, please email us the details.

Q. Are tickets transferrable?

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your tickets to another family.

Q. Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are only refundable if the event is cancelled, relocated or rescheduled. You will be given the option to either carry your existing tickets over to the new event or receive a refund. Kindly note; that the refund period will close 21 days prior to the new / rescheduled event date.

Q. Do pre-walking infants pay?

No, pre-walking infants are free but, they do need a ticket. Please select a pre-walking infant ticket type when ordering.
