Welcome to Our Family Festival!

We’re thrilled to have you join us for a day full of fun, music, and memories! To make sure everyone has a safe and happy experience, please take a moment to read our festival guidelines below.

1. Tickets and Entry

  • Ticket Details: Each ticket is your family’s pass to a wonderful day! When you arrive, your ticket will be checked and exchanged for a wristband. Please make sure you always wear your wristband; it ensures you can take part in all activities and access all areas and stalls.
  • Children and Age Guidelines: All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This event is designed for families, so everyone can enjoy the activities together!
  • ID Check: We may ask for ID at the entrance for certain age-restricted areas.

2. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Refund Policy: Tickets are only refundable if the event is cancelled, relocated or rescheduled. You will be given the option to either carry your existing tickets over to the new event or receive a refund if you prefer.
    Kindly note: the refund window will close 21 days prior to the new / rescheduled event date or 45 days from the date the original event is cancelled/postponed/rescheduled, whichever is sooner.
  • If you are unable to attend: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your tickets to another family.

3. Festival Conduct

  • Family Atmosphere: We’re all here to have fun! Let’s keep the festival positive and friendly. Swearing or aggressive behaviour won’t be tolerated so that everyone feels comfortable.
  • Respect for Others: Please be kind and respectful to fellow festival-goers, staff, and volunteers. If you need help, our team is here for you!
  • Alcohol and Substances: To keep things safe, no alcohol or substances are allowed to be brought into the festival (there is a specific licensed area for adults, and IDs will be checked).

4. Health and Safety

  • First Aid: A first aid station will be on-site to help with any minor injuries or health concerns. If you need assistance, just ask one of our team members.
  • Weather: The event will take place rain or shine! Please dress for the weather and bring your sunscreen, hats, or raincoats as needed.
  • Lost Children: If a little one gets separated, please let our staff know right away. We’ll have a lost-and-found area where everyone can be reunited quickly.

6. Photos and Memories

  • Festival Photos: A photographer will be present on behalf of Big Beat Playground capturing special moments during the day, some of which may be used for our marketing. By attending our event you are giving permission that you may be photographed. However, if you wish for a photo to be removed, please email us the details.
  • Your Photos: Feel free to take photos and videos to remember the day! Please be mindful of other families’ privacy when taking pictures.

7. Safety and Responsibility

  • Enjoy Responsibly: We want everyone to have a fantastic experience, but please remember that you are responsible for your own safety and belongings.
  • Parental Supervision: Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children during the festival.

8. Respect and Removal Policy

  • Positive Vibes Only: To keep things safe and friendly, we reserve the right to ask anyone who is disruptive or acting inappropriately to leave. Let’s make sure everyone has a happy and welcoming experience!
  • Zero Tolerance for Bullying: Harassment or bullying of any kind won’t be allowed. We want this to be a place of kindness and fun for all.

9. Understanding These Guidelines

  • Agreement: By purchasing a ticket, you agree to follow these guidelines so everyone can enjoy the festival together.
  • Updates to Terms: We may need to make small changes to these guidelines. If anything big changes, we’ll let you know ahead of time.
